SSH

With the SSH task, you can execute a command on a distant machine over the Secure Shell protocol V2. It allows you to send files before, and/or retrieve files after command execution, saving connection time between those different operation.

main

A way to use it could be:

  • sending a file or group of files on distant machine.
  • executing a command, which could generate one or more new files.
  • receiving those new files from distant machine to local agent.

Grouping those 3 steps inside the same SSH task lets you save connection time between sending, executing, and receiving data.
